Belur & Halebid are small twin temple cities located in Hassan District of Karnataka. They were capital cities of Hoysala Dynasty. These temples take you back to 12^th Century & give a glimpse of Hindu temple art. The hoysalas followed Dravidian style of architecture & they played an important role in the development of art, religion & architecture in South India.

Shravanbelgola is an important Jain pilgrim center with 17m tall statue of Lord Gomateshwara which is called Bahubali statue as its prime attraction. This statue is believed to be world’s largest monolithic statue.

Board Train from Mumbai @ 21.30 pm.

15th Jan, Wednesday, Day 1:

Arrival at Birur Station by 4.13 pm.We will move towards our hotel in Chikmagalur. (1-1.5 Hrs from Station.)
Check in & Freshen up.
After introductions & dinner, we will retire for the night.

16th Jan, Thursday, Day 2:

After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing of Chikmaglur.
Come back to Hotel by 7.00 pm.

After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing of Chikmaglur.

After breakfast, check out & proceed for sightseeing. Visit Belur-Halebid-Shravanbelgola.
We will also visit Belavadi Temple if time persists.

After breakfast, move towards Hassan Station for taking train back to Mumbai. (Hassan-Dadar Express at 8.20 am).

20th Jan, Monday, Day 4:

Reach Mumbai by 6.00 am.
