Mandu is an architectural wonder in India. It is an ancient City known for a fort built by Baz Bahafur in the memory of his queen Rani Roopmati. This city is surrounded by stone walls dotted with Darwazas (gateways). The beauty of Mandu is visible in its palaces & monuments. The palaces take you back to the era of kings & queens.

Omkareshwar & Mahakaleshwar are 2 jyotirlingas out of 12 Jyotirlingas which we will visiting in this tour.

Maheshwar, the town located on the banks of Narmada River, is also known as ‘Temple Town’ as it possesses treasure trove of Beautiful temples. This peaceful riverside town holds historical, Spiritual & mythological importance and finds its mentions in ‘Mahabharata’ & ‘Ramayana’ under its old name ‘Mahishmati’ and draws pilgrims and sadhus to its ancient Ghats and temples. This was the capital of Rani Ahilyabai Holkar’s province. She moved Holkar capital here from Indore & built palace within Maheshwar’s fort.  Also several popular movies have also been shot here.

Indore is a major commercial and education hub which is also known for its cultural heritage. But apart from this, what attract most of the people from all over the world to Indore are its food markets namely Chappan Dukan and Sarafa night Market. Visit to this city is must for food lovers. Sarafa Market is India’s first and only night food market. Board ‘Avantika SF Express, 12961’ Train from Mumbai Central for Indore at 8.55 pm.
(You can join by train from Pune as well or by flight from your base.)

25th Sep, Thursday, Day 1: Indore Arrival- Maheshwar Transfer- Maheshwar Sightseeing

Breakfast in Train.
Arrival in Indore at 8.55 am. 
We will proceed to Maheshwar.
Hotel check-in. Freshen up and move for sightseeing.
Visit Ahilya Fort and other temples in the Ghat premises.

Night stay at Maheshwar.

26th Sep, Friday, Day 2: Maheshwar Mandu Indore

After breakfast, we will check out & leave for day  Mandu. (1 Hr drive from Maheshwar)
We will explore the central group – Jami Masjid, Hoshang Shah’s Tomb, Ashrafi Mahal and also Visit the Royal Enclave – Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal, Champa Baoli,Eco Point, Baz Bahadur’s Palace, Roopmati’s Pavilion.
We will head back to Indore.

Check-in at hotel by late evening.
Explore Sarafa night Market.
Come back to Hotel. Retire for the day.

27th Sep, Saturday, Day 3: Indore-Omkareshwar-Indore

After breakfast,  we will move to Omkareshwar. (3 Hrs drive) After Darshan at Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, we will come back to Indore.

28th Sep, Sunday, Day 4: Indore Sightseeing-Ujjain Mahakal Darshan

Check out from hotel.
We will enjoy breakfast at 56 Dukaan.
Proceed to explore few places in Indore & then move to Ujjain. (1.5 Hrs drive from Indore).
Visit Mahakal Temple & few other temples in Ujjain.

Proceed to Ujjain Railway Station to board train for Mumbai at 10.00 pm.

Arrival at Mumbai Central between 8.30 am-9.00 am.
