Yana Caves/Rocks are located in Yana village in North Karnataka. These rocks are two huge monolithic rocks known as the Bhairaveshwara Shikhara and the Mohini Shikhara surrounded by thick forest and they are part of Sahyadri hill range. They are composed of solid black, crystalline karst limestone. Yana is also a well known pilgrimage center because of the cave temple below Bhairaveshwara Shikhara where a Swayambhu linga has been formed.

Murdeshwar is a town in bhatkal Taluk of North Karnataka lying on the coast of Arabian sea & is famous for the world’s second largest Shiva Statue. Murdeshwar temple is another famous attraction here. The lord shiva is called Murdeshwar & that’s how the town got its name. The Temple has 20 Stories Gopura called Raja Gopura.

Mirjan fort known for its architectural elegance was the location of several battles in the past. The fort is located on the banks of Agnashini River in Mirjan Village & was built in 16th Century.

We will be also visiting a waterfall named ‘Vibhuti’ which is nearby Yana. It is said that the waterfall gets its named due to its water being super white and also from limestone Yana Caves.

Along with Yana , we would be visiting Madhukeshwara (Banavasi) temple which is a 9^th century marvel and Sahastralinga which is in the river Shalmala and is famous for around thousand lingas carved on the rocks in the river and on its banks.

Thursday, Day 0:

Board Train for from LTT at 03.10 p.m.

Friday, Day 1:

Reach Kumta by 03.00 a.m. & proceed to our stay in Sirsi for early check-in.
After freshening up & breakfast, proceed for sightseeing.
Visit Banavasi & Marikamba Temples & Sahastralinga.

Night stay at Sirsi Homestay.

Saturday, Day 2:

We will check out after breakfast.

Move towards Yana Caves.
Reach and explore Yana Caves (There is an easy level trek of 15 Minutes one way to reach caves.)
Later on visit Vibhooti Falls (There is an easy level trek of 15 Minutes one way to reach falls.) & Mirjan Fort.
Proceed to Honnavar for check-in.

Night stay at Honnavar.

Sunday, Day 3:

Post  breakfast, check out from hotel and leave to visit Murudeshwar Temple & explore surrounding Temple complex. 
Later on visit places in Honnavar (Idgunjee Temple, Mangroves Boardwalk).

We will reach Honnavar/Murudeshwar Railway Station to take Train back to Mumbai by 5.00 p.m.

Monday, Day 4:

Reach Mumbai between 6.00 am to 6.30 a.m.
