20th Jun, Friday, Day 1: Arrival in Chandigarh-Proceed to Shimla
Arrival in Chandigarh in morning.
We will proceed to Shimla. (4 hours journey)
Check-in into hotel. Freshen up.
Night stay at Shimla

21st Jun, Saturday, Day 2: Drive Shimla-Narkanda-Sarahan (Apprx 5-6 Hrs drive)
Post breakfast, check out by 9.00 am and move towards Narkanda.
Enroute Lunch.
Narkanda is a town which town attracts tourists for its ethereal natural beauty and its beautiful apple orchards.
Explore Narkanda, which is famous for its Hatu peak & Hatu Temple. Hatu peak is the highest peak in Shimla district (9,000 Ft.).
Later on move to Sarahan.
Visit Bhimakali Temple at Sarahan.
Dinner & retire for the night.

22nd Jun, Sunday, Day 3: Drive Saharan-Sangla (3-4 Hrs)
This is going be one of the most Scenic Drives of our Entire Tour.
We will head to Sangla today
Reach Sangla in afternoon.
Sangla Valley is also known as Baspa Valley because of the Baspa River & is very rich in apple orchards, Apricot, wall-nuts, Cedar Trees.
Visit Kamru Fort & few other places in Sangala.

23rd Jun, Monday, Day 4: Drive Sangla-Chitkul-Kalpa (4-5 Hrs)
Post breakfast, we would head to explore the last village of Sangla Valley i.e. Chitkul. Chitkul is also last inhabited village near to Tibet Border.
After exploring Sangla & Chitkul, we will head to Reckong Peo, headquarter of Kinnaur. A further drive takes you to Kalpa Village which is a beautiful place overlooking the Kinner Kailash Mountain.
We will visit the famous Suicide point at Roghi while on the way to our stay in Kalpa.
Check in at Kalpa Hotel/Guesthouse.

24th Jun, Tuesday, Day 5: Drive Kalpa-Nako-Gui-Tabo (6-7 Hrs)
Post breakfast, head towards the headquarter of Kinnaur and
After Kalpa, we will move towards Nako. Nako is famous for its lake & a monastery established in 11th Century. Guru Padmasambhava has his footprints on a rock nearby and is revered by Buddhists all around the world.
We will move towards Spiti Valley by reaching the first village, Sumdo.
En route Visit Gyu where you will get to see the famous mummy of the old monk.
Later drive towards Tabo, which is also known as the Ajanta of the Himalayas.

25th Jun, Wednesday, Day 6: Drive Tabo-Dhankar- Kaza (2-3 Hrs)
Post Breakfast, We will Visit 1,000 years old Tabo Monastery which is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is said that the statues are very similar to that of Alchi monastery in Ladakh.
We then head to Dhankar Monastery which is 1200 years old monastery built on high spur overlooking the confluence of Spiti and Pin Rivers.
We will also hike to the beautiful Dhankar Lake (1.30 Hours Hike One Way). (Optional)
We will move towards Kaza which is the capital of Spiti & the biggest and most developed town in Spiti Valley.

26th Jun, Thursday, Day 7: Kaza- Langza-Hikkim -Komic-Kaza (5-6 Hrs)
After breakfast, proceed towards Komic which is known as highest inhibited village (13,000 Ft.) with a population of 80. Enroute visit Highest Post Office at Hikkim. You can post a card to you from here.
We then would be visiting Langza, which is famous for Fossils & a big Buddha Statue.
Visit to Kaza Monastery.

27th Jun, Friday, Day 8: Kaza-Key Monastery-Kibber Kunzum la -Chandratal (5-6 Hrs)
Post breakfast, we head to explore Key Monastery & the beautiful Kibber village.
Key monastery is the largest monastery in Spiti Valley built on a hill top and is founded in 11th Century.
We will visit Kibber monastery and walk around the village. Kibber is also the start or end point of famous Parangla trek which connects Spiti valley with Ladakh.
Later on we will be driving to one of the important highlights of the entire Tour i.e. Chandratal Lake by crossing Kunzum Pass. This pass connects Spiti Valley with Lahaul Valley. The lake is very beautiful & one of the popular destinations. A must for every Nature Seeker. The Chandra Tal Lake has derived its name due to its crescent Shape. (Chandra means moon & Tal means Lake, thereby Moon Lake).

28th Jun, Saturday, Day 9: Chandratal- Batal- Atal Tunnel–Naggar (6 Hrs)
We will be leaving barren Spiti Valley early in the morning by 4.00 am and move towards the Greener belt of the Lahaul Valley.
Reach Manali via the Famous Atal Tunnel by 12.00 noon.
We will explore Naggar depending upon time in hand.

29th Jun, Sunday, Day 10: Naggar to Chandigarh Departure (7 Hours drive)
We will check out early in the morning post breakfast. & proceed to Chandigarh. (7 Hours drive)
Reach Chandigarh by 5.45 pm.
You can plan your return anytime after 6.00 pm.

Note:
1.Pl note that this is a thrilling road trip in remote locations. The tour leader has the authority to change the schedule or skip some points in case of emergencies or natural calamities.
2. You can skip Manali and we can get you booked on the Night Volvo Bus to Delhi/Chandigarh at an extra cost.
Though this trip is easy from physical endurance perspective but it’s not advisable for the people suffering from High Blood pressure, any other heart ailments or Illness of any kind. It is of utmost importance that you are fit and fine before going for this trip & It Is mandatory to get yourself medically checked & submit a medical certificate to the Tour Organiser.
