In this tour we will be taking you to Mandu, Maheshwar,Omkareshwar,Indore and Ujjain.

Mandu is an architectural wonder in India. It is an ancient City known for a fort built by Baz Bahafur in the memory of his queen Rani Roopmati. This city is surrounded by stone walls dotted with Darwazas (gateways). The beauty of Mandu is visible in its palaces & monuments. The palaces take you back to the era of kings & queens.

Omkareshwar & Mahakaleshwar are 2 jyotirlingas out of 12 Jyotirlingas which we will visiting in this tour.

Maheshwar, the town located on the banks of Narmada River, is also known as ‘Temple Town’ as it possesses treasure trove of Beautiful temples. This peaceful riverside town holds historical, Spiritual & mythological importance and finds its mentions in ‘Mahabharata’ & ‘Ramayana’ under its old name ‘Mahishmati’ and draws pilgrims and sadhus to its ancient Ghats and temples. This was the capital of Rani Ahilyabai Holkar’s province. She moved Holkar capital here from Indore & built palace within Maheshwar’s fort.  Also several popular movies have also been shot here.

Indore is a major commercial and education hub which is also known for its cultural heritage. But apart from this, what attract most of the people from all over the world to Indore are its food markets namely Chappan Dukan and Sarafa night Market. Visit to this city is must for food lovers. Sarafa Market is India’s first and only night food market. It provides countless options for Lip smacking food right from Poha,Dosas, Bhutte ka kees, Garadu, Kachori  Panipuri, Chats, other namkeens to Imarati,Gulab Jamuns, Malpua, Jalebi,Rabri, Falooda Kulfi. You can digest all this with Jal-Jeera or Lassi which are popular traditional beverages.

Board ‘Avantika SF Express, 12961’ Train from CST for Indore at 7.10 pm.

15th Aug, Thursday, Day 1: Drive Indore-Mandu and Mandu Sightseeing

Arrival in Indore at 9.15 am.
Move to Mandu. (Indore to Mandu-2 Hrs Drive)
Check in at Hotel. Freshen up and move for sightseeing.
We will explore the central group – Jami Masjid, Hoshang Shah’s Tomb, Ashrafi Mahal and also Visit the Royal Enclave – Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal, Taveli Mahal, Champa Baoli.
Come back to Hotel after dinner.

16th Aug, Friday, Day 2: Mandu Sightseeing, drive to Maheshwar and Maheshwar Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will explore rest of the points in Mandu i.e. Eco Point, Jain Temple, Baz Bahadur’s Palace, Roopmati’s Pavilion.
We will head to Maheshwar. (Mandu to Maheshwar- 1 Hr Drive)
Explore Maheshwar. Visit Ahilya Fort, Rajarajeshwara Temple, Ahilyeshwar Temple.Spend evening on the banks of Narmada and enjoy the sunset.

17th Aug, Saturday, Day 3: Drive from Maheshwar to Omkareshwar ,Omkareshwar sightseeing, drive to Indore, Indore Exploration and Sarafa Food Market Visit

Post Breakfast,Move to Omkareshwar jyotirlinga. (Maheshwar to Omkareshwar- 1.3 Hrs Drive)
After Darshan at Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, we will move to Indore.
Explore Indore post Lunch.
Check in at Hotel. Rest for some time.
Then we will head to the famous Sarafa Market of Indore in the night.
Come back to Hotel. Retire for the day.

18th Aug, Sunday, Day 4: Visit to Ujjain 

Post Breakfast, We will cover the remaining sightseeing points, if any, in Indore.
We will then move to visit 2^nd Jyotirlinga of the tour at Mahakaleshwar at Ujjain.
Move to Ujjain Railway Station by 5 pm to take train back to Mumbai.
