12th May, Sunday, Day 1: Bagdogra to Phuentsholing (4-5 Hrs)
Arrival at Bagdogra Airport & move to Phuentsholing.
Phuentsholing serves as entry/exit point for Bhutan.
Check in Hotel.
If time permits, we will visit Zangtho Pelri Temple, the heaven of Guru Rinpoche.

13th May, Monday, Day 2: Drive Phuentsholing-Thimphu (4-5 Hrs)
After processing permit, starts the journey towards Thimphu, the capital town of Bhutan and the centre of government, religion and commerce. On the way we would be taking lot of stops to admire the spectacular views. Thimphu is a unique city with unusual mixture of modern development alongside ancient traditions. Explore Thimphu to appreciate the Buddhist culture, Ethnic architecture of the Dzong and palaces, Traditional and the lifestyle of the Drukpas in this peaceful Himalayan Kingdom.
We will visit Takin Preserve, which houses national animal takin that is found only in Bhutan.

14th May, Tuesday, Day 3:Thimphu Sightseeing
Today we will be doing full day excursion Tour in Thimphu & We will be covering the below mentioned Places:
- Memorial Chorten built in 1974 to honour memory of Late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, popularly known as the Father of Modern Bhutan. A multi-storied stupa that will introduce you to the vitality of Tantric Buddhism.
- Folk heritage museum
- National Library (collection of holly scripts)
- Buddha Point
- Textile museum
- Thimphu Dzong
- Jungshi Handmade paper factory that uses traditional methods to produce the authentic Bhutanese paper known as Deh-sho. This factory continues to preserve and promote this age-old Bhutanese tradition. It also produces various other products, such as stationery and greeting cards. The factory uses the bark of two tree species, the Daphne tree and Dhekap tree in the manufacture of traditional paper. Visitors can observe the entire process of producing handmade paper using ancient traditional methods that have been practiced for generations.
- Downtown Thimphu on foot, visit Handicrafts Emporium and other Arts & Crafts stores. Buy stunning kiras which can be used as bed covers or wall decoration, jewelleries and many more.

15th May, Wednesday, Day 4: Drive Thimpu-Punakha (3 Hrs)
Proceed to Punakha after breakfast with a stop for tea at Dochula pass (3,100 meters) where you will witness spectacular views of Himalayas.
On the way, we will Chimi Lhakhang (temple of fertility).
After lunch, drive to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, and visit Punakha Dzong, which is noteworthy both for being one of the most Beautiful Dzongs in Bhutan and it is still the winter residence of Central Monastic Body.
Later or drive to the rafting Point & start our Mo-Chhu Rafting (Optional).
In the evening, we will check in at the hotel,

16th May, Thursday, Day 5:Drive Punakha-Paro (4-5 Hrs)
Proceed to Paro after breakfast.
On arrival in Paro, we will see the rich history of Bhutan exhibited in the 17th century National Museum. We will also visit Paro Dzong, a massive fortress built in 17th Century which houses the monastic body.

17th May, Friday, Day 6: Paro sightseeing including Trek to Tiger Monastery
We will leave early in morning for our hike to Tiger Nest Monastery which hangs majestically on a granite cliff of 900 meters from the Paro valley.
After the hike, we will drive up to visit Drugyel Dzong which is located upstream to the end of the paved road. On the way back visit Kyichu monastery, one of the oldest in the country.
The evening ends with a walk through the Paro’s main shopping district. The local shops sell a verity of goods- groceries, textiles as well as prayer flags.

18th May, Saturday, Day7:Drive Paro- Haa Valley-Phuentsholing (10-12 Hrs)
We will leave for an early morning drive to Chele-la Pass (one of highest motor able roads in the country). For the Buddhists, It is a sacred place to festoon the pass with prayer flags. This Haa valley offers enticing views of the Himalayan Mountains & the surrounding villages.
This is longest day of the tour and after visiting Haa valley we will move towards Phuentsholing.
Reach Phuentsholing hotel by late evening.

19th May,Sunday Day 8: Drive from Phuentsholing- Bagdogra (5-6 Hrs) & Departure for Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, return to Bagdogra Airport and board a flight back home with happy memories.
